I was reflecting on a YouTube video I posted recently, where I mentioned this truth: Sometimes the delay in seeing what you’re praying for isn’t about you personally—it could be that your environment needs to be prepared first.
It reminded me of how God created the world. Before He brought life into being, He created the environment that would sustain it and allow it to thrive. He didn’t create fish without first preparing water. He didn’t create plants before there was land. Everything was placed in an environment that could support its growth.
That made me wonder—what if we are the environment? What if the manifestation you’re waiting for hasn’t happened because you’re not yet ready to sustain it? Maybe it’s not just about waiting on God—it’s about God preparing you to receive and sustain what He has already planned to give you.
Are You Her? Let me speak to two types of women:
The woman who is focused on walking in her authority as a child of God.You’re in a season where you’re learning to fully embrace your identity in Christ. Maybe you’re growing in intimacy with God and learning what it means to truly walk as His daughter.
Are your daily habits aligned with who God says you are?
How do you nurture your relationship with God so you can grow spiritually?
What thoughts are holding you back from fully stepping into your identity as His beloved daughter?
The woman who is focused on her purpose and impact. You know God has called you to something greater. You have a vision, but maybe you feel stuck, or the fruit isn’t showing up yet. Here’s a hard question: Are you the woman who can sustain the purpose and multiply the impact? If God gave you the full manifestation of your calling today, would you be ready to steward it well?
Do you have the mindset of the woman God is calling you to be?
What are her daily habits?
How does she prioritize her relationship with God while balancing her purpose?
If you’re honest, you might see areas where you need to grow, whether that’s in your mindset, spiritual practices, or daily discipline. That’s not something to feel ashamed about—it’s something to work on intentionally.

A Call to Reflect
Take a moment to reflect on these questions:
Who is God calling you to become?
What needs to change in your mindset, habits, or lifestyle so you can sustain the blessing when it comes?
Whether you’re focused on growing deeper in your identity as a child of God or stepping into the next level of purpose and impact, the key is becoming the woman who can sustain what you’re praying for. You don’t become her by accident—you become her by being intentional about your growth.
Scriptures for Reflection
Here are a few scriptures to meditate on as you evaluate where you are and where God is calling you to go:
Philippians 1:6 – "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."→ God is already at work in you. He won’t leave the process unfinished.
Romans 12:2 – "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."→ Becoming Her starts with renewing your mind and allowing God to reshape how you think.
Isaiah 40:31 – "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."→ Waiting on God is an active process—it’s about preparing while trusting Him to bring the increase.
Galatians 6:9 – "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."→ Keep doing the work. Keep becoming. The harvest is on its way.
Final Encouragement
You don’t have to have everything figured out today, but you do need to start the process of becoming Her. Whether you’re focused on growing in your identity as a child of God or preparing to walk in greater purpose, the key is intentional growth.
God has already placed greatness inside of you, but you must become the environment that can sustain it. Let’s commit to growing in faith, renewing our minds, and walking boldly into the life God has prepared for us.
